Overview
Sand cores for automotive castings
Cores form the inside of a casting — the passages, cavities and bores you can't make with the mould alone. A good core holds its shape, releases its gas and breaks out cleanly.
Our core shop runs 5 core shooters for hot box and cold box cores, with 20+ core box variants maintained in-house. Most of our output goes to CIE Automotive, a customer that accepts zero defects.
Because the sand comes from our own RCS plant, the biggest variable in core quality is controlled at the source.
